Bec's Bookshelf

This bookshelf was designed around having just enough black oak boards leftover from another projects to make it. The back is a traditional frame and panel, but the panel is made from shop sawn veneer. Black oak is more lively and varied than the commercially produced white oak, and the defects in these boards ended up being the best parts.
